Here are some plant things that I am loving these days!
TV
Plants Behaving Badly on PBS – You need PBS Passport. I highly recommend the first episode, “Murder and Mayhem”. The up close graphics of the way carnivorous plants work is phenomenal.
Games
Verdant – A game about house plants. Play the trial version here. Check out the kickstarter here.
Food
I have eaten vegan since the beginning of 2022. It has been heavenly. Oh She Glows for Dinner has been a huge part of that wonderfulness. Below are a few recipes.
One Bowl Banana Bread (I am living for this right now)
Roasted Brussel Sprouts (amazing; in the book she uses olive oil, not coconut oil, and she leaves out Harissa spice blend)
Smoky Black Bean and Brown Rice Veggie Burgers (These are the only homemade burgers that have not fallen apart on me.)
Glow-rious Greek Pasta with Oregano, Basil, and Lemon Zest Parmesan (her vegan feta is awesome)
Creamy Buffalo Cauli Tacos (Wow! Best vegan tacos I’ve had, second only to A’s tacos)

House Plants
Easter Lily Cactus – Matthew and I just adopted one! We like it because it doesn’t have sharp spines so it is better for cats. The cactus delights my heart.
Bird Nest Ferns – Matthew and I just adopted the variants ‘Hurricane’ (for Matt) and ‘Crispy Wave’ (for me). Stunning leaf detailing.
Tillandsia Tectorum – Matthew and I also adopted this one. The fuzzy white air plant has adapted to the intense sunlight of the Ecuadorian mountains. She’s a beauty.
